Bizzy J

Internet was down last night (again), so no post. No worries, yesterday's pic is below.

Busy 2 days. Yesterday nana and I took him shopping and to Whole Foods for some chow. Nana made dinner for all of us.

Today was the typical busy Saturday. Ohana Music first thing, then swim. Jake was up for the music, but he gets tired at swim time. We're not going to sign him up for next session. He's still too young for it. At Ohana Music Jake was kind of shy again, but he warmed up toward the end. He's a good kid. We're really lucky. I can't express enough just how blessed I feel to have him in my life. I love him and I love Sujin. I'm very, very lucky.

In the eve we went to see Jang, Sa-ik at the Korean temple in Palolo with Lina and 'rents. It was fun. but Jake wasn't too interested. He got to play though, so he was happy.

Reelin in the Eve

Yep, almost lost it today. More mayhem at home today than in the past 2 weeks; and yes, it's been 2 weeks since they started. There was just so much dust and crap everywhere and of course (no fault of his own) Jake was all over everything that was dirty. On the bright side, I put the shower curtain up and took a nice shower. It is nice and I hope the rest of the work makes us feel as good.

Aside from playing in the dust, Jake was in high spirits today. He had fun just playing at home and he really seems to be getting super attached to us. We both love it. We really do. Nana gets love too and Jake obviously can't live without her. We had dinner at different times and cleaned/watched the telly. All's good in Jake World tonight.

Press the Stress

I've seriously had it with this work being done on the house. When we got home there was dust all over everything; it was everywhere. Absolutely everywhere. There were other problems too. Don't know yet whether it was worth it to do the renovations.

Picked up Jake and brought him to mom's work. Stress there too as he likes to play with anything that can possibly hurt him. He gravitates toward that stuff. Anyway, it was an hour of trying to stop him from hurting himself.

Afters we had dinner with nana at Outback Steakhouse. Horrible restaurant. Don't feel like explaining. Too tired and too much work to do. Jake went to sleep well. I feel bad b/c I was stressed and scolded him when it was me who had the problem, not him. Sorry boozoos.

Abada

Finally blogging at home (decided to plug in the router regardless of whether they are done or not), but the stress continues. Gmail is painfully slow on my comp for some reason so it took me about 15 minutes to download these pix, should have taken me 2 minutes. Ho hum.

Long weekend, here are the highlights:

Friday:
Jake was asleep by the time we got home from the game. He had fun with nana, but they were both tired.

Saturday:
Ohana Music first thing. Jake was a bit shy, and, much to our chagrin, he had a fever again. He perked up toward the end, but the fever continued. We decided to take him swimming (his fever was slight enough and he seemed up for it) and he liked it. He was a bit down, but he had fun. Afters we had lunch, Shillawon, then went home to clean the dirty, messy, stress-inducing house. We were all exhausted so we napped. Dinner with Myoung-hee and boyfriend for his birthday. Everyone said he was a "great baby because he's so well behaved." He actually was pretty calm the whole time.
Today:
Early AM surf with Matt at Barber's. First time in months. Jake swam, felt good (no fever) and played happily in the sand. Brunch at En Fuego, then we went to the baseball game with Dave and Karen. Jake made friends with the people around us and at one point the guy behind us said, "You have a very well-behaved son, you're lucky." Wow. I guess we are. Dins at home, we were all tired, but b/c Jake had 2 naps, he didn't want to sleep and was pretty wild right before bed. Speaking of tired...I'm exhausted. Out.
Oh, and for some reason, Jake loves to say "abada" whenever he's doing something active. We have no idea what it means.
