Went swimming with the Jakers in the afternoon. He's doing great, already "blowing bubbles" (a tactic taught at swim class) and kicking as he "swims." He loves the water too, which is fabulous.
Dinner with nana: chili and rice. Jake loved it.Amazing fete of the day? He's actually been doing this for a couple of weeks now, but he goes to his bookshelf and picks out the same two books to read before bed. What's special about this? They are part of a series that Joo-hwan's mom sent from Korea. There are about 50 in the set and all the binders look pretty much alike, as do the size of the books. In order to pick the book, he has to either read the title or recognize the small picture on one of the books. The pic is about the size of two eraser heads. I'm glad I'm writing these things down. They are amazing moments for us.
